Supernova Trailer
Trailer for my science fiction first-person shooter video game.
I recorded footage using OBS in 4K and edited in Premiere Pro using proxies. I did some light color correction since clips were recorded on different machines, used After Effects to create the shooting star animation at the ending of the trailer, and Photoshop for the thumbnail which I based on popular samples. I went through multiple rounds of feedback from peers while using Derek Lieu's game trailer tips online to guide the structure.
In addition, I also made an edit of the trailer for Instagram Reels by both changing the framing as well as the content and pacing while still communicating the game's vital features.
Scorched
Thriller short film with a ~10 minute runtime from a cast & crew of 20+ using professional grade equipment from DePaul University.
I am the sole editor for this film which meant cutting and coloring, sound editing, and mixing. This involved use of my prior knowledge on Adobe Premiere Pro for cutting and organization, conducting in-depth research on coloring and sound, and constant communication with the director with frequent check-ins on progress and to receive feedback. We are currently waiting on a composer to create the final score to implement.
